A Virtuoso Ignored

A Virtuoso Ignored
Do we have time for the things we love anymore? Do we try to make time for the moments that truly bring us bliss? To be honest lives will get complicated if you try to make time for things that you really don’t have time for. Life will get rougher with you. In reward you will get a minute of pure happiness, and forget all your worries. Most people do not make time for the activities they enjoy. Our community needs to make time to come together and bring warmth and heart to daily actives, but we do not. How can you make time for the memories you want to make if you are working, going to school, have homework, play sports, basically trying to make a life for yourself? It is sad, but our society literally does not have the time to stop and smell the roses or listen to the musician in the train station. That is the truth, but there are times when the people of our modern day society have to stop and take a breath and push us to make a little time for the people and a fun aspect of life we care about. Because if we fail to make the most of our time and put ourselves through hell just to be successful then we will never truly be happy. We cannot be the workers in the train station when Joshua Bell is playing right in front of us and not stop to listen the beautiful melody of his violin. “But when the rush-hour commuters had a chance to hear Bell for free, they didn’t even stop to listen” (The Last Word).
